Aerocity and proposed International Airport
to propel Greater Mohali’s proximity to a new altitude
GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority), has set up
a goal of achieving a balanced development of the area by preparation of
perspective plans, strengthening of infrastructure facilities and promotion of
Growth Centres. GMADA intends to develop Mohali as a world city where the grass
is greener, the roads wider, the air cleaner and where proactive and responsive
governance is the norm. The initiative to upgrade Chandigarh Airport to
International level along with creating cargo facilities towards Mohali
side is under active consideration with a view to bring far reaching
economic benefit to this region. Thus providing an extra boom to the nearby
localities like ‘Shivalik
City ’, sector 127 and
making the locality the best place to invest in both commercial as well as
residential property, which can be easily seen by the amount of interest shown
by major real estate players and builders.

from Sector 66-66-A to Chhat village on the Chandigarh-Patiala National
Highway-64. A total of 3,950 Plots, ranging between 125 square yards (5 marla)
and 500 square yards (1 kanal), will be allotted through a draw of lots at a
reserve price of Rs 12,000 per square yard (Rs3 lakh per marla).
